Noah's First Post

My name is Noah, and I am participating in the TechTeens program this year. I am currently a junior at Lowell High School.

My favorite subject in school is chemistry, because I like learning about how the world works from a chemical perspective. I especially enjoy learning about how chemicals can react and form new chemicals - like how two substances that both look like water can be combined to form a cloudy yellow mixture as a result.

When I have spare time, I like to create games or small interactive programs on my computer using various programming languages. Although most of my time goes towards large amounts of homework,  I spend extra time dealing with coding or programming video games, as well as playing them.

Apart from chemistry, another science topic I am interested in is biology and the environment. I really like seeing how things can connect to each other, and environmental science is another way to see those connections.

Here is a science video about laziness that I find interesting. Sometimes I can be a very lazy person, and I sometimes procrastinate my work. This video helps explain why that is.

This video comes from the AsapSCIENCE youtube channel, which features short three to four minute videos about various science topics explained in a blog-type video with animations.
