Madeleine's First Post

'Sup, my name is Madeleine Valdez. I'm a supes dope junior at California High School that's currently a member of the Science VizTeam at the California Academy of Science. Now, I'm not that awesome, but I can be pretty interesting. Here are a couple (pretty ordinary) facts about me:

I'm passionate about so many things that I end up being a jack of all trades. I love to paint, to write essays, and learn about current events. This year I'm taking a couple AP classes: English 11, Studio Art, and U.S. History. I'm on the Mock Trial team at school. On a regular basis I attend MUN conferences. I also try to look into business and entrepreneurship.

As for science, I really love looking at the structure and function of various critters. How animals and plants fit directly into a particular niche fascinates me, and I love looking at the interactions between ecosystems!
